Vanessa Hudgens Gains Weight For 'Gimme Shelter' Movie

You heard it ladies and gentlemen! Staying true to the craft of acting, Vanessa Hudgens has gained approximately 15-20 pounds for her role in the upcoming movie entitled 'Gimme Shelter'.

Vanessa plays the role of Apple, A 16-year-old pregnant runaway who is desperately seeking to find her estranged father played by Brendan Fraser.

Ms. Hudgens' typical weight is estimated to be around 115 lbs. After the shooting of the film rapped up, Vanessa was spotted hitting the gym on an above average rate, quickly shedding the extra weight in preparation for her next film project entitled 'Spring Breakers' where she will be featured in an array of revealing outfits.

There is no official release date for 'Gimme Shelter', but we're guessing that the film will hit theaters in the summer or fall of 2012.
